On September 30th, 2025, my home caught on fire.

The fire began on the second floor and quickly spread through the upstairs attic, roof, and nearby bedrooms.

Luckily, we found it early enough to evacuate everyone in time before it could harm us. The fire spread quickly through the house, and the Bedford Fire Department worked tirelessly for hours to put it out. Thanks to their efforts, the fire was eventually contained. But the flames, smoke, and the thousands of gallons of water needed to battle it left behind devastating damage. More than 20 years of treasured family belongings, keepsakes, and the comforts of home are now irreparable.

This loss is especially personal for me. When I moved from California to the East Coast last year, my best friend's family opened their doors to me without hesitation. They welcomed me in like one of their own, giving me a place to stay and the support I needed to build a new life here. Their generosity and kindness have been life-changing, and now they are the ones who need our help.

This fundraiser is for this family who has lost so much more than I can ever repay. Every donation will go directly toward supporting them as they begin the long process of rebuilding their home, replacing treasured belongings, and restoring a sense of normalcy to their lives
