Support Becky’s Recovery from Heart Attack and Stroke

My name is Miranda and I'm trying to raise funds for medical expenses and everyday living for my Aunt Becky.

As some of you may know, on February 14, 2025, my aunt Becky suffered a massive heart attack and coded. She was transferred from Bibb ER to Shelby and underwent a cardiac stent placement on 2/15.

That night, she did not respond when trying to wake her, which prompted a CT scan. The results showed that she also suffered a stroke.

Becky had just started back to work at a new job and did not currently have health insurance. Joe (her husband) has been out of work since last year and also just had surgery himself in Nov 2024. Joe is unable to work currently as he needs to be with Becky 24/7 for care. Due to her stroke, she is unable to return to work, but the bills do not stop coming.

She surprised all doctors and was taken off the vent, making a somewhat amazing recovery, and was discharged home on Feb 28th, exactly TWO WEEKS after we expected the worst. She still has memory deficits and weakness from the stroke, and we are unsure of her return to work.
