UPDATE (today): Becky was admitted back into the hospital today. Doctors are running more tests with concern for pneumonia and possibly a procedure. Things escalated quickly and we’re trying to stay afloat while I’m caring for her. Any help or even a share means more than I can explain ❤️My fiancée Becky recently had brain surgery to remove a tumor at the base of her brain.
She survived — but the recovery has been extremely difficult. She still cannot swallow and relies on a feeding tube, and just two weeks ago she couldn’t even walk.
Now, she’s starting to move again and getting a little stronger every day.
She spent over two weeks in the ICU and is now home, but requires constant care. I’m helping her with feeding, medications, and getting to physical, speech, and occupational therapy, along with frequent doctor visits.
This has completely changed our lives overnight. I’ve had to step away from work to take care of her, and we’ve fallen behind on rent, utilities, and basic living expenses.
We are doing everything we can to stay afloat and keep her recovery moving forward.
Donations will go toward:
– Medical expenses and supplies
– Therapy and recovery care
– Rent, utilities, and basic needs
If you’re not able to donate, sharing this means just as much.
Every donation, no matter the size, truly makes a difference right now.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting Becky’s recovery ❤️
