Support Becky’s Move to Reunite with Her Fiancé

Hello and I hope this day finds you well. I am Becky and I have been in a long distance relationship with my fiancé in the picture for almost three years. My son and I have decided to move to New Jersey from Ohio and start a new life with my fiancé.

I put up my house for sale and accepted an offer for $22,000 over the balance I owed on the mortgage of the house. I thought by the time I paid the realtor and all the fees, I'd have at least $15k to move and furnish the new apartment with, as I don't have much furniture besides our beds and my son's bedroom set. I was going to use that money after closing to move and start my new life. I already have an apartment lined up and have planned to pay friends to help me load up and unload the Uhaul truck on both ends. I have taken off a whole week of work unpaid, to get everything done that needs to be done before Moving Day.

Except, the mortgage company added an additional $10k to the payoff amount for the house in interest and fees. And despite filing for a fresh start bankruptcy last year, one of my previous loans put a lien on the house, so that's another 5k gone. After that, I'm only getting $179.00 at closing. Not selling my house to this buyer is not an option for several reasons.

I cannot move on $179.00. I have been working in NYC and living between two states for over a year. This is not sustainable and it's also why I haven't been able to save up money. I was depending on the sale of my house to get me what I needed and now that's not happening. I have the quote sheet from the pre-closing attached and I have the payoff amount letters from both companies.

I am asking for assistance to get me to New Jersey. The closing of the house is June 24th. I need to be moved in to my new apartment on June 30th. Please help me get what I need so my son, my fiancé, and I can live our lives together.
