hi guys, my name is becky! i am many things: a big sister, a cat mom, an avid reader, a swiftie, a talented baker, a good friend, a loving partner, a pisces, and at this very moment, after conducting an electromyography and nerve conduction test, i am also in need of carpal tunnel release surgery.

and that is where i need your help.

unfortunately, this surgery is on my dominant hand, is very expensive, and the recovery time is very unpredictable, with none of the time off is being paid. even with insurance, this is a financially difficult procedure and will unfortunately put me out of work. per my surgeon, once i recover from the initial surgery (3-4 weeks) i then will be out of work for "weeks to months" due to needing physical therapy. right now, i do not have a set surgery date, but i am aiming for the first week of november.
