Support Becky Williams' Heart Transplant Recovery

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Supporters,

My name is Becky Williams, and I am reaching out to you during one of the most challenging and uncertain times of my life. In 2012, at the age of 30, I suffered two back-to-back heart attacks. Over the years, I have undergone multiple stent placements to manage my condition, which was ultimately diagnosed as Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD). Despite these interventions, the damage to my heart persisted, and my doctors determined that bypass surgery was required to address the most problematic artery.

Sadly, the complications from SCAD led to severe damage to my left heart and an enlarged heart, which ultimately progressed into advanced heart failure. Over the past year, my health has declined significantly, and it became clear that a heart transplant was my only remaining option. After a month of waiting, I was fortunate to receive a life-saving heart transplant on January 23, 2025.

As I recover in the hospital and prepare to return home, the financial burden of medical bills and daily living expenses has become overwhelming for our family. Due to my ongoing health challenges, I stopped working two months ago, and my husband, Erastus Williams, has taken time from his job to care for me and our children while I focus on my recovery. While we are deeply grateful for the support we have already received, we are still facing a significant financial gap.

It is uncertain when I will be able to return to work, and the expenses related to my surgery and recovery are substantial. This is why we are humbly asking for your help.
