My mother, Rebecca Perryman—Becky to her sisters and close friends—is a woman of unwavering strength, faith, and love. For 6 long years, she has bravely battled Extensive Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer (ESCLC), a fight that has now spread to her brain. Despite her incredible resilience, Becky is no longer able to work and is bed/wheelchair bound due to cancer-related fatigue. As her daughter, Tina, I am reaching out to you for help during this incredibly difficult time.
Becky is a tough country girl from Cypress, Texas, who isn’t afraid of anything. She’s a mother to two daughters, a grandmother to four grandchildren, and a proud great-grandmother to two little ones.
Her faith has always been her anchor, and she’s an active member of Trail of Life Cowboy Church, always steeping up to help. Becky’s heart is as big as her spirit—she selflessly cared for her ex-mother-in-law and sister-in-law, opening her home and dedicating herself to their care as they battled dementia and diabetes-related illnesses. Now, it’s our turn to care for her.
The funds raised will go toward Becky’s mounting medical bills, co-pays, prescriptions, and the full-time home health care she now requires. We also need to make her home accessible for medical equipment, provide mobility devices, and cover medical transport to her appointments. Additionally, these funds will help bridge the gap for her everyday bills, ensuring she can focus on her health and comfort without added stress.
Becky has always been a pillar of strength for our family and community. She’s faced life’s challenges with courage and grace, leaning on her faith to guide her. Now, as her daughter, I humbly ask for your prayers and support to help my mom during this time of need. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a profound difference in her life.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers. May God bless you for helping my mother in her time of need.
With deepest gratitude,
Tina
