Support Becky Ortiz's Battle with Breast Cancer

Hello, My name is Lexie Smith and I am organizing this Go Fund Me for my great friend and coworker Becky Ortiz. She was diagnosed October 8th, 2024 with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC). TNBC is a type of breast cancer that lacks or has low levels of the estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor, and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2.

She has been through so much the past few weeks with biopsies, ultrasounds, MRI’s, blood work, an echocardiogram, PET scan, and more.

Unfortunately they discovered more cancer last week, and she had to undergo two more biopsies. She is still currently waiting on those results but will begin weekly chemo treatments for 12 weeks beginning on November 12th and then chemo every 21 days for another 12 weeks. After chemo has been completed, she will then endure surgery.

 

Becky is a single hard working parent. She's worked at cracker barrel for almost 19 years, and i've known her since I was a kid.

Unfortunately our insurance does not cover chemo treatment. I'm asking for donations to help her cover rent, groceries, and her medical expenses. I'm hoping that anyone who reads this, that you find it in your heart to donate something. Any little thing helps, and Becky is the most selfless person I've ever met, She deserves the world and
