Support Becky in Her Fight Against Gliosarcoma

Friends and Family,

At the end of October, Becky experienced a dizzy spell that caused her to fall and break her kneecap. She was taken to the emergency room. After explaining to the doctor that she had been feeling out of sorts lately, the doctors decided to do an MRI, which revealed a tumor on her brain. The tumor was removed within days and sent to the Mayo Clinic for further testing; the diagnosis was a grade 4 neuro-gliosarcoma.

Due to the aggressive nature of gliosarcoma, her medical team had to act quickly, and the radiation and chemotherapy treatments began on December 3rd. Becky is undergoing daily medical radiation and chemotherapy treatments with weekly physical therapy, and follow-ups with her orthopedic surgeon and neurologists.

We are the family and friends of Becky Borghi. With the abundant requests asking how to help or contribute, we have decided to create this GoFundMe account to solicit support for Becky in her time of need. Becky's unwavering generosity and commitment to helping others has inspired us to seek support from those around us in this challenging time.

These funds will be utilized to assist in the on-going medical bills and month-to-month expenses (rent payments, gas for frequent hospital visits, car payment, etc.) as Becky is unable to work while undergoing treatment. By helping her with these expenses, we are hopeful that she can focus her time and effort on battling gliosarcoma.

We have been completely blown away by Becky’s faith in God and her strength, resiliency, and determination. Becky, only 43 years old, has so much life left to live with her sons, grandsons, siblings, parents, friends, and extended family.
