Support Becky in Her Battle Against Cancer

I everyone, Becky here. Most of you know that on September 12, 2024 my life was changed forever when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was invasive ductal carcinoma, grade 3 and triple negative.
What some of you might not know is the timeline of my journey.
See my last day to work was July 22, because on July 23rd I had an elective surgery. I was suppose to go back to work 6 weeks later, but that did not happen. On September 17th I had to have my 2nd surgery and had my gallbladder removed. The 3rd surgery I had, was my bilateral mastectomy on October 28th. From there, I had to have two more surgeries to remove the expanders & have temporary implants put in, mid November.
On December 16th I walked into the 2nd phase of this journey and began chemo.
I just finished my fourth treatment of the Adriamycin and Cytoxan on January 27. These last three weeks have been incredibly debilitating due to the side effects.
I start the Taxol (chemo) on February 10. This will be the first of 12 treatments. My hopes were to go back to work while getting the Taxol, but we will see. The side effects are different than the ones I’m having right now from the AC. I just want to get to the other side of this journey and move on with my life.
What should be the third and final phase will be the last two surgeries for my rebuilds. I felt the best option for me was to do rebuilds rather than implants. We’ve decided that after I finish chemo I’m going to take a little bit of time to heal from the chemo and all the surgeries that I had last year, before I have any more surgeries
I’m setting up this fundraiser to help with the medical bills, additional support from my counselor and to keep Meah’s activities as normal as possible. I know someone is going to wonder so I’m just gonna explain it a little bit further. Yes we have insurance and it’s good insurance but every chemo treatment is $100. This year alone that will be $1400. I still have two more surgeries, IV infusions, tests & procedures. Our insurance is structured with co-pays versus a deductible. Any and all support will be more of a Blessing than you could imagine. If you are able to donate, great but if not please know we will take all the prayers we can get. Above all of this I fully trust God!!! He is going to use my testimonies in ways beyond our comprehensions.
Thank you & God Bless each of you!
