Support Becky Engle's Fight Against Mantle Cell Lymphoma

Friends, family, community: we have created a GoFundMe page for Becky Engle. Many of you have met Becky through her time at Hy-vee, McDonald’s, or Casey’s. Becky is well-known around our community, and needs our help. We are friends of the Engle family hoping to help support Becky on this journey.

Becky was admitted to St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria on April 1st due to prolonged health issues. Since then, Becky has been diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma with blastoid phase. It is an extremely rare form of non-Hodgkins lymphoma. For this, Becky will be undergoing a multi-drug therapy that has recently been shown to work well for this type of cancer. That treatment is expected to last for 3 years.

In addition to the cancer diagnosis, Becky developed a few more health issues during her stay in the hospital. Due to these complications, Becky may be unable to work for many months. Becky will need financial help with home healthcare, home services, medical bills, and regular bills such as utilities and groceries. Transportation to appointments may be needed as well.

Becky is very appreciative of the phone calls and texts from friends and community members. We are now asking for any assistance in these challenging times. Any little bit will go a long way on this long and difficult journey. All proceeds will go into an account for Becky.
