Hi everyone! My name is Rachel Middleton. I am starting a GoFundMe for my mom, Becki Lee.

My mom is one of the most caring people in my life, she raised me as a single mom, and always made sure we were taken care of. Now I’m hoping to help her in her time of need.

Back in August my mom passed out at her job. She was rushed to the emergency room and was unconscious for about an hour. During her testing, they found an AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation) which is an entanglement of veins in brain that isn’t allowing blood to flow properly. After A LOT of doctors appointments, we were informed she needs to have brain surgery, as she is at risk of it rupturing while it’s still there. They will need to cut her open and remove the AVM. Unfortunately, with this procedure we are unsure of how she will be when she wakes up. She will mostly like lose most of her vision in one eye, possibly lose speech, and possibly have paralysis, and she is at risk of having a stroke during and after her procedure. Since she lives with just her kitten, Luna, she will be moving in with me during her recovery time.

She will need to be off work for at least a month, but she will still need to pay her bills in that time. So I’m hoping to help with that - and possibly her medical debt that she is going to accrue with this.

Her surgery is scheduled for December 11th and she is so nervous and stressed, so I’m really hoping this helps at least take off the financial stress that this has caused.

if you know my mom you know she would never ask for help. She is always the one to help everyone. She will make sure that everyone around her is happy and safe. Now she needs some help, but like I said she won’t ask, so I’m asking for her lol.
