Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out to share my story and seek your support during one of the most challenging times in my life. I am currently battling large cell type B non-Hodgkin's lymphoma while raising my two beautiful daughters and completing my final class for my undergraduate degree in computer science.

In July, I secured a dream job in IT, a role that felt like the start of a new chapter. However, shortly after, I received the life-altering diagnosis of cancer. Since then, my life has become a juggling act, trying to balance work, treatment, and my responsibilities as a father of 2 daughters. I've been undergoing 5-day rounds of chemo and immunotherapy every three weeks, with my final round scheduled for October 21st.

Despite my best efforts, I can only work half the hours I was expected to, and my parents have generously stepped in to cover my bills, rent, and other expenses—totaling tens of thousands of dollars over the past year. Recently, I faced unexpected costs, including $4,700 for car repairs, tuition, and my new private health insurance deductible.

As of now, my rent is due, and I’m uncertain how I will manage the upcoming month's expenses. I’ve hesitated to ask for help, as my parents have already given so much, but I find myself in a position where I need to reach out for assistance.
