I am someone who has built my life around community care, service, and protecting the people I love. Many of you know me through my work in nonprofit leadership, my love for animals, or the deep pride I take in supporting my family. Asking for help is not easy for me, but I believe in the strength of community during difficult transitions.

It is with a humble heart that I reach out for support. I am currently separating from a relationship that was harmful to my health and to the safety and wellbeing of my family. For those who know the circumstances, I ask for respect for everyone’s privacy, healing, and ability to move forward. At the same time, I will continue to do what is necessary to protect my peace, my pets, and the home I share with loved ones.

To move forward safely and ensure due process, I am seeking help to secure legal counsel for my upcoming divorce proceedings. My goal is to raise $5,000 to cover current legal fees and avoid taking on additional debt. Any contribution, no matter the amount, truly makes a difference.

I understand that some of you may know my former partner, and if supporting me feels uncomfortable or like “choosing sides,” I respect that completely and simply wish you peace in your day.
