Support Becca's Fight with Breast Cancer

Hi, my name is Ashley and I am creating this fundraiser for my Aunt Becca who has been recently diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (breast cancer). This recent diagnosis has brought up everything that a mom can fear of not being able to promise her children that she will always be there to protect them and be in their corner for everything life has to offer. Aunt Becca has been a stay-at-home mom to her 2 kids (18 and 8) and wants peace of mind that if anything were to happen to her, at least her babies have something to fall back on since she does not have life insurance. All proceeds will go directly to her medical bills and any leftover will be saved for her children's needs. She is starting the process of working with her surgery team and the next steps in ensuring she can live as long as possible.

Background on her type of cancer: This type of cancer is considered the sneaky cancer. It’s not well researched yet even though they are in the process of finding treatments for Lobular carcinoma. At this time, invasive lobular carcinoma is treated the same as ductal even though they present totally different from one another. Invasive lobular carcinoma is a subtype that makes up 10-20% of breast cancers. Ductal carcinoma is the most common, 85% of breast cancer is ductal.
