She was immediately transported to the University of Omaha Medicine, where doctors identified two bulging disks impinging on her spine. She also sustained fractures to her L1, 2, 3, T1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and ribs. During her hospital stay, she suffered two life-threatening episodes: a stroke and a dramatic decline in blood pressure and heart rate. We also found out her organs are failing, brain and liver. Her road to recovery will involve rigorous rehabilitation will be at Madonna Hospital; however, her insurance provider is hesitant to cover due to her organs failing and may not be able to give her proper care. She’s on the organ transplant unit. The substantial costs due to her health. She must contend with ongoing expenses, including her mortgage, utilities, and phone bill.
