I am helping raise funds for my friend Becca, who is more like a daughter to me. Becca was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the lungs, with metastasis to her brain, bones, kidney, liver, and lymph nodes. Becca’s prognosis is not favorable; however, her cancer team has established a course of care that will give her the best support to provide her as many pain-free months as possible with a prescribed course of radiation and oral chemotherapy, with an estimated life duration of about 3 years.
