Support Becca's Family After Losing Home to Wildfire
Donation protected
My dear friend Becca and her two-year-old daughter, Ryette, lost their family home in the Palisades wildfire yesterday.
Her grandmother, who passed last year, maintained this home for 60 years to ensure there was a roof over her family’s head when she was gone. Her grandfather, whom she was very close with, passed in the same month and his elderly dog that she had been caring for had to say goodbye just before Christmas this year. Christmas is already a heavy time, as it is also the birthday of Becca’s partner and father of her child, who tragically passed before the baby was born. If that wasn’t enough grief for a lifetime, let alone two short years, they are now in immediate need of securing housing and beginning to replace clothes, toys, bedding, furniture—everything a home holds.
We are all so grateful that they were able to safely evacuate with their cat, but they need urgent community support to start rebuilding.
Becca is such a generous friend and loving mother—shes working hard in school to secure a stable future for her and her beautiful daughter and deserves to feel the lift of a community that cares about her.
Please help her out with anything you can, it all adds up ❤️
