On July 31st, my sister Becca lost her husband Nathan unexpectedly. In a matter of moments, she became a widow and a single mother to two beautiful children: Emma (5) and Ethan (2).

Her husband was the primary provider, and now, along with the heartbreak of losing him, she’s facing the harsh reality of trying to support her children alone. Without childcare, she can’t return to work. Without work, she can’t cover rent, groceries, and basic needs. She’s likely going to have to move from the apartment they’ve called home.

She's doing everything she can to hold her little family together. My sister is one of the most loving, selfless people you could meet—someone who has always put her family first. Right now, she needs a village around her.

This fundraiser will go directly toward:

• Rent and utilities for the next few months to keep a roof over their heads as they navigate this new reality

• Childcare so she can return to work and rebuild stability

• Moving expenses if she’s forced to relocate to something more affordable

• Basic living costs for her and the kids like groceries, diapers
