As you know, I have been traveling to Haiti for about 25 years where BFARS supports two schools, an

orphanage, and now a medical clinic. I have ongoing support for the schools from various people and

some nurse friends that send support for the nurses at the clinic. In 2019, we started having a clinic

twice a year when we went. My good friend, protector, and mentor, Pastor George Renauld, had a small

house built for us to stay when we came over, and he had always talked about the need for an ongoing

clinic being so badly needed in Port de Paix. George passed away in 2021 and left the house that is now

the clinic. It is now officially the George Renaud Medical Clinic and serves as their only source of

health assistance for the community. The medicines include many that we take for granted but have

been unavailable to the people (antibiotics, prescription drugs for minor and serious illnesses, treatment

for wounds, etc.).

Every year we have to replenish the medicines and take them to the clinic (by boat). We now have a

dire need for them as the nurses report they are almost completely out. It will cost approximately

$9,000.00 to do this. If you can send any amount of money to assist with this it will be very much

appreciated. All donations are tax exempt!
