Hello everyone!

First off, thank you so much to everyone for the love and support during this extremely difficult time. I never could have imagined this would be our future.

Beau is 8 years young and if you know him, you know this boy has the energy of a puppy and could play fetch or frisbee until your arm falls off. He has been the joy of my life since the day I was supposed to help find him a home but decided we were the best fit instead. Beau has been my cuddle buddy, my rock, my partner in crime, my shotgun rider, and my best friend. We’ve grown up together these last 8 years. His loyalty, affection, and playful spirit have taught me so much about unconditional love. Beau is the most human-like animal I have ever had. I’ve always said the Lord knew what I needed when He gave me Beau. He is one of my greatest blessings.

I am incredibly beyond devastated to share that my beautiful, handsome Beau bear has been diagnosed with Urothelial carcinoma. My goal is to give him as much pain-free time as possible while exploring his treatment options. He will soon be meeting with an oncologist.

I’m doing everything I can, but the costs of all the tests, medications, and special care are adding up so quickly. Any support, whether you feel called to donate or simply just sharing this page, would mean more than I can even put into words right now, to help me keep Beau as happy, comfortable, and healthy as possible for as long as possible.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, generosity, and support. I know Beau has so much love left to give, and I want to do everything I can to get him through this.

Update: Due to the extreme costs of Radiation, the next best line we have decided to proceed with is vinblastine Chemotherapy and he will need 5 treatments. Beaus oncologist believes that this line of treatment will have a good response from the tumor. Beau can begin his first chemotherapy treatment with the continued love, prayer, and support from our friends and family.

With all the craziness that we have in our lives, I can’t explain what it means that you have chosen us to support. Thank you a million times again.

UPDATE 4/26

We had a really rough weekend. His breathing has started to become labored. We believe he does in fact have a nodule on his lung. His appetite has also gone down over the last few days. We went to the vet on Saturday and now time is extremely important to get his treatment on the schedule for his chemo to stop the tumor. His Dr is confident that the sooner the better he will respond. We can’t thank you enough for you kindness and support. We feel the love and the prayer working. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

Beau has gone to the Lord. He gained his wings Tuesday morning. We are incredibly sad but so thankful. No words could express either of these emotions right now. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
