Hello friends, family and interested parties,

I humbly ask your assistance in purchasing a new braille display to connect to my computer. As most of you know, I was born totally blind and with no light perception. My journey has been a hard one, but one of perseverance. I was mainstreamed all throughout my schooling and went to school with sighted individuals. Now, I work with sighted individuals, and braille is key to being able to do my job. My current braille display is in disrepair, and I need to purchase a new one to connect with my computer and use at work. Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to do so. That is why I am humbly asking for your assistance.

Also, I need to purchase a pair of Meta Glasses as my cleaning lady ruined the pair that I had by washing them with water. Meta Glasses help me by describing objects and people, and also by helping me identify denominations of money. Unfortunately, I do not have the funds to make this purchase either.

Any assistance that you can provide me in reaching this goal would be greatly appreciated.
