My name is Maria, and I am creating this fundraiser for my sister, Bea, who is facing a heartbreaking and overwhelming time in her life.

Recently, Bea was rushed into emergency surgery after suddenly experiencing severe abdominal pain. Doctors discovered large masses and Bea received the devastating news that she has Stage 4 gastric cancer that had already begun to spread without warning.

At the same time, Bea was 19 weeks pregnant. She went into early labor, and her daughter was born prematurely. Her parents were able to hold her, love her, and say goodbye during her brief but precious hour of life.

Bea is now recovering from major surgery, grieving the loss of their baby, and preparing to take on cancer—all while being a mother to four young children who need stability and love during this difficult time. Her husband is doing everything he can to keep their home together, but the financial strain is becoming overwhelming.

Rent and utilities to keep a stable home for Bea and her children

Medical costs not covered by insurance

A memorial and resting place for her baby girl

Living expenses as Bea cannot work and her partner must take time off to care for their family
