We are asking for community support as bear prepares to get top surgery and moves back home to Washington state.

Bear has been on the waitlist for this surgery for years now and has been unable to seriously consider moving out of state until they get it. The moment has finally come! But we need about 6.5K to help cover bear’s moving expenses, as well as their living expenses for the next three months as they recover from surgery.

With this support we can bring bear back home to the forests and rivers of coast salish lands, in the ecosystem where they grew up, where they feel most at home, where they feel most alive, with their community and chosen family, where they belong.

Bear is a devotional tracker and deeply skilled researcher & educator. A supported transition will allow them to finally live into those lifeways in their fullness.
