Hi Everyone,

I am raising funds on behalf of Carly Tremblay and her sweet pup, Bear.

Bear was recently at the vet for a routine check-up when a lump was discovered in his anal gland. A biopsy was performed right away and the results came back as cancerous. Carly immediately made an appointment with oncology where X-rays, an ultrasound, and bloodwork were completed to ensure the cancer had not metastasized to other organs. Fortunately, the results came back showing the cancer is isolated to the anal gland which qualified Bear for life-saving surgery.

Bear is scheduled for his L Anal Sacculectomy treatment this week and while this is all great news, both for Bear and Carly, it's of course a large and very unexpected expense.

On top of initial $1.6k work-up, the surgery itself is estimated to cost at least $5.4k outlined in the estimate she received today.
