On Wednesday, May 22nd, Sam and Chelsae received the devastating news that their son, Bear, was diagnosed with High Risk Neuroblastoma. This day marks the start of their journey to treat and cure Bear's cancer.

Since then, Bear has had two major surgeries to remove tumors, four rounds of chemotherapy, a stem cell collection, multiple blood and platelet transfusions, doctor's appointments, and hospitalizations. Through it all, Bear has done remarkably well and has remained his sweet, active, and loving self.

The road ahead is long and daunting. Bear is facing two bone marrow transplants, which will each require a 4-6 week hospitalization. He will also require several weeks of daily radiation at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

We organized this GoFundMe to help offset the mounting expenses for the medical bills, transportation, and logistics surrounding Bear's care.
