Hello there, thank you for your willingness to listen to our story.
I adopted Beany back in 2021 while undergoing a 3-year-long chemotherapy regimen for my own Leukemia diagnosis. He was there for me after every infusion and has helped me immensely on my path to recovery after that long, difficult (but successful!) fight against cancer.
In 2022, his doggy brother Zuko underwent chemotherapy to combat a mast cell tumor. While Zuko did unfortunately succumb to his illness in 2024, he lived long past his initial life expectancy thanks to chemotherapy treatment.
Last week, Beany was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It came out of nowhere. I took him to the vet out of an abundance of caution after he threw up on Sunday night, and by Tuesday we received the terrible news about his cancer diagnosis.
His cancer is fast-moving, and Beany needs immediate treatment. He needs to undergo CHOP chemotherapy for a chance at remission, and I am determined to help him in his own fight against cancer just like he did for me and his doggy brother.
Any financial assistance is appreciated, as his chemo regimen is estimated to cost $13,000 on the low end. I am still recovering financially from medical expenses for both myself and Zuko's chemotherapy treatments.
Thank you for being here, I appreciate you listening to our story. Even if you are unable to donate, please help me spread the word so I can help Beany out just as he helped me and his brother in the past.
