Bring Bean Home: Help Us Reunite Our Family

This fundraiser is for Bean, our sweet, goofy, loving dog, and for us, her family, who are devastated to be without her.

Bean has been part of our lives since she was a puppy. She grew up with us, learned from us, and brought so much joy into our world. Damian taught her all her commands, and she went everywhere with us —> hikes, road trips, quiet mornings at home. Her silly spirit and warm eyes gave us hope on the hardest days.

But recently, Bean needed emergency surgery to remove an intestinal blockage. We tried everything we could to get her care, but the costs were overwhelming and immediate. Because we couldn't cover the medical bills upfront, we were forced to surrender her so she could receive the treatment she urgently needed. It was the most heartbreaking decision of our lives.

We didn’t lose Bean because of neglect. We lost her because we didn’t have enough money at the worst possible moment. We are not alone in this. Too many loving families are put in impossible positions when faced with veterinary emergencies.

Now we’re asking for help. Your support will go toward covering Bean’s emergency medical expenses and giving us the chance to bring her back home, where she belongs. It will also help us build a small fund to support other pet parents like us, people who love deeply but are priced out of saving their companions.
