Support Baylor Hernandez's Fight for Life

Baylor Hernandez (27) was admitted to the ICU Saturday night (10/19) after struggling with inconsistent lucidity and a chronic pain. Her condition rapidly deteriorated and the doctors had no option but to put her into a medically induced coma. Since then, Baylor has had to remain on total life support with conditions changing minute-by-minute. This fundraiser will go to her ever-increasing medical bills to help support her and her husband, Oliver, through this devastating time.

If you know Baylor, you know how much of a fighter she is (seriously, be careful with what you say about the Golden Girls). She loves ferociously and will do anything for the ones she loves. Baylor is passionate about human rights, music, and her husband, Oliver. She and Oliver have run a cat rescue out of their home for many years and have rescued countless people in the process.

Baylor was misdiagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes a few years ago, resulting in incorrect treatment. Her diagnosis was corrected recently to LADA (Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults), but unfortunately this diagnosis came too late. As a result of a mix of incorrect treatments for LADA and other health battles, she is now facing very critical odds of only 1:10.

I am Baylor’s sister-in-law by name, but she has been my sister ever since I met her over 10 years ago. She deserves many more long years in this life and most of all, she deserves all of the love that the world has to give her. Please donate what you can.
