The No Waterpark Coalition, made up of Pelican Bay HOAs Bay Villas, St. Tropez, The Stratford, The Heron, Bridgeway, Tierra Mar, Serendipity, St. Nicole and St. Simone and surrounding communities including Seagate, Park Shore, Naples Cay, and the Gulf Shore Association of Condominiums, are now working together along with the PBPOA to protect the interests of our communities. We are dedicated to opposing the construction of a proposed waterpark by South Street Partners, owners of the Naples Grande. Our opposition is not just about the waterpark itself, but about the numerous violations and the potential long-term implications which we feel will be injurious to not only our neighborhoods but all of Pelican Bay. These include traffic, parking and noise exacerbated by public access.
We have created a video and a website that provides additional perspective and information.

We are in the process of presenting arguments and debating South Street Partners in front of the Collier County Board of Commissioners that the proposed waterpark development would require a change to County and Pelican Bay Governing Documents. To date we have petitions representing over 5000 local residents, the backing of the Naples City Council and support of several Collier County Commissioners as well as several land rights lawyers and experts.
The funds raised through this campaign are being used to cover legal expenses, commission additional engineering reports as needed and ensure we can respond effectively to County rulings and document interpretations. Our arguments are detailed, supportable, and factual, and while responses from the County have been positive so far, nothing is guaranteed. Continued preparation is necessary to protect our community’s future. We are grateful for any support you can provide, the average donation has been $500—together, we can make a difference and ensure that Pelican Bay remains a wonderful place to live.
