Support Bashir Rostami's College Wrestling Dream

My name is Scott Paton and I live in Tampa, Florida. I have mentored a young man from Afghanistan named Bashir Rostami who wrestled with my son Nick at Freedom High School. He fled Afghanistan under terrible conditions and now has a chance to wrestle in college. He's an exceptional wrestler who was unfairly disqualified in the district finals during his senior year which ended his opportunity to go to states. I've spent over $5,000 of my own money helping his family, taking him for a college tour, among many other things which I don't want back.
Bashir just started his college career. He's received a significant amount of student aid and scholarships but he's still needs about $8,000 per year plus money for clothes, shoes, linens, towels, etc. Whatever money is raised will go directly to Bashir, his sister Malalai and the rest of his family. His college, Newberry College in South Carolina moved mountains to get Bashir admitted. In his college coach's words, "you see a wrestler like Bashir once maybe every 10 years".
