Support Baruti's Journey to Publish His First Book

My name Baruti KMT-Sisouvong (pronounced buh-ROO-tee KE-met-SEE-soo-VAWNG), and I am in the process of turning elements of my Doctoral Dissertation research into my first book and am seeking your assistance.

One profound aspect of my journey centers on my regular practice of the Transcendental Meditation technique—a practice my wife, Mina, and I have had the profound opportunity to aid others in learning here in Cambridge, MA and Metropolitan Boston for eleven years now as Directors of the TM Center. And with the dissertation done and PhD having been conferred as of last December, I am eager to share the research more broadly and have decided to move forward full steam with the book. The working title, as shown in the attached image is “Elegant Transitions: How Transcendental Meditation Can Aid You in Every Phase of Life.” (See the aspirational mock-up of the book cover for reference.)

In addition to detailing my journey and how TM has aided me in every phase over the last sixteen years of practice, special attention in the book is given to the model which grew from my research and reflects my journey. I refer to it as a Model for Perpetual Growth and Progress and view it as a roadmap for realizing the highest and best aspirations for individuals, groups, and organizations. In combining the practice of Transcendental Meditation with the model, one may wend one’s way to a more fulfilling life in every area.

All monies will aid me in being able to devote more of the next year to writing while being able to continue caring for my family in addition to our continued TM teaching activities here in Cambridge and Metropolitan Boston.
