If you know Philip and me, you know our sweet babies Bart and Sancho are everything to us.

Over the past few days, we noticed Bart slowly declining in health suddenly. After three different vet visits and a lot of concern, we finally received the diagnosis: intussusception, which in turn caused an obstruction and a critical and life-threatening diagnosis for our sweet boy. Intussusception is basically when parts of the intestine start to fold into each other, blocking fluid and blood supply requiring critical surgery. It’s been a stressful and emotional time, not knowing what was wrong and seeing Bart in distress.

Now that we know what’s going on, Bart needs urgent medical care to recover. The funds raised here will go directly toward his surgery, hospitalization, IV fluids, and medication, and post surgery care. Every dollar will help ensure Bart gets the treatment he needs to heal and come back home where he belongs.

Bart is the sweetest baby on earth, and I can’t imagine life without him. The veterinary team at his vet, Hilton Vet Clinic and Wilson Veterinary Hospital, caring for him has been wonderful, guiding us through every step and helping us find a plan of action.
