Bart Vandomelen has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a previous local strawberry farmer in North Plains, Oregon, Bart and my family worked together when he started The Pie Guy, a small pie business that quickly became a beloved sweet spot in our community. Bart is the kind of person who works tirelessly and quietly, never asking for help even when times are tough.
Right now, Bart is facing some of the hardest challenges of his life. His wife is very ill, and both of his daughters share the same genetic condition. Despite his best efforts, Bart has fallen two months behind on rent for their home where his wife and daughters live. The winter months are especially difficult for his pie business, making it nearly impossible to make ends meet.
Bart has always given so much to our community, and now he needs our support. Your donation will help Bart catch up on rent for his wife and daughter’s home, living and medical expenses. Helping him will provide some much-needed relief during this difficult season.
Please open your heart with prayers and help Bart and his family get through this challenging time. Bart and his family live on NW Dairy Creek Rd in North Plains, OR, and any support from neighbors and friends would mean the world to them.
