Cook, husband of Mariann Mets Cook, and dad of two, was involved in a serious car accident that has left him unable to work and provide for his family for the foreseeable future. Barry's accident has not only left him with extensive medical challenges but has also left his family without his income, possibly into early 2025, when he will first be able to walk and drive again after hip surgery.
