Dear Barracuda Studios friends and customers.

2025 has been a challenging year for Barracuda Studios. There has been a literal explosion of new companies (figuratively speaking ), meaning that the hobby dollar is now divided over a much larger pool of manufacturers. That's the nature of business, and we work hard to remain on the cutting edge of detail, accuracy and quality.

Three months ago, however, I injured my lower back, making it painful to stand for any length of time. Casting and 3D printing and filling orders require a lot of standing and this impacted many aspects of keeping the business running. My back is a lot better now and I am back to work.

Then my main business computer bricked, with the hard drive packing up. The system is old and won't work with Windows 11, so I had to get a new tower. It's nothing fancy, but a decent upgrade from my old system. In the meantime, I was using my even older shipping computer, which is glacially slow!

The end result is that I have lost some 6 weeks worth of sales. This has put me in a tough position financially. I dont have many other options at this point, so I turn to you, my valued customers, to ask for some help to get me over the hump financially. I am embarrassed to be in this position.

I have set up a GoFundMe page. If you can spare a little bit to help Barracuda make it through this rough patch, it would be greatly appreciated. If you prefer to place an order, that is also helpful. If you are overseas and want to help, GoFundMe will not accept overseas payments.

Please know that I am NOT throwing in the towel! Too much cool stuff yet to produce. I have a batch of new releases coming shortly, and another batch not far behind that one.
