Support Baretta's Healing Journey

Donation protected
On the evening of December 11, 7-year-old Baretta sustained back fractures and internal damage to her intestinal track when the vehicle she was riding in left the road and struck a tree. Rural communities at times have limited access to services, and the extent of her injuries were unknown until the following day when she arrived at UC Davis Children's hospital. Baretta and her mother Brittni will be there until it is safe for her to come home, at which time she will begin months of recovery.

Baretta is a silly, loving, and adventurous child, quick to love and steal people's hearts. Her mother Brittni is a brave, hard working solo-mama who is completing her first semester of college while working full time guiding and inspiring the most vulnerable members of our community.

Brittni has been off work and will continue to advocate for and cheer on Barettaas she heals.

As we all know, living expenses continue despite medical crisis. Funds will be used to offset travel costs, lost wages, and adaptations needed to make it safe for Baretta to come home.

We recognize that this is a hard season for many, and ask people to donate even the smallest amount, as it adds up! At minimum, please share the fundraiser.

We will update as Baretta progresses. Wishing all a peaceful and safe holiday season. ❤️
