Hi everyone, I’m reaching out for someone who means so much to me—my aunt Barb.
On April 29, Barb will undergo a life-saving stem cell transplant as part of her fight against cancer. While this treatment brings hope, it also begins a long and challenging recovery. After she’s discharged, she will need to stay near her medical team in Portland for 100 days of close monitoring and bed rest through August 7.
Barb has dedicated her life to helping others. She works at Shepherd’s Door in Portland, a rehabilitation living center where she supports women as they rebuild their lives and overcome addiction. She pours her heart into caring for others, offering compassion, guidance, and hope every single day. Now, she needs that same support. During this time, Barb won’t be able to work, and the costs of treatment, housing, and everyday living expenses will quickly become overwhelming. Our goal is to help ease this financial burden so Barb can focus fully on healing and recovery.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount would mean so much to our family. And if you can’t, sharing this page is incredibly helpful and appreciated. Barb is one of the most loving, selfless, and genuinely caring people you could ever meet. She has always shown up for others—now it’s our turn to show up for her. Thank you for your kindness, your support, and your prayers. It truly means everything to us.
