My sister Angie and I are writing this for our mom Barb. She has been living with heart failure for 25 years, but recently her health has declined. She has been in the hospital for 10 days now. She was transferred from United to Abbott Northwestern due to her heart no longer being able to keep up with the treatments and medications. They are currently discussing placing an LVAD or doing a heart transplant. With either option she will have open heart surgery and months of recovery. I don’t want her to worry about not being able to support herself. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!! Thank you!!!
