Support Barb's Battle Against Stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
Update as of 4/27:
Hi everyone,
We wanted to share an update on our mom and express our deepest gratitude for all the love and support you've given so far. Your generous donations and kind messages have meant the world to us and have truly helped ease the burden during this incredibly difficult time.
Barb will be starting her cancer treatment this week at a facility close to home. While there was initial consideration of traveling for care, her doctors advised against flying due to the current condition of her lungs. Thankfully, we've found a nearby treatment center that we trust, and we feel confident she’ll be in good hands.
Please continue to keep her in your prayers as she begins this next chapter. We’ll keep you all updated as we go. Thank you again for walking with us through this—your support gives us strength every single day
Update as of 4/24-
We continue to be amazed and deeply grateful for everyone’s generosity. Your kind words are lifting our mom’s spirits, your prayers are being felt, and your donations are making a real difference.
Because of your support, our mom can now focus on what treatment is truly best for her, not just what’s most affordable. That shift means everything to us – and for that, we are forever grateful. Words will never fully express how much this means. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ♥️
Update as of 4/22-
WOW we are so touched by everyone’s support! We didn’t know what was possible on here but man did you all come to rally behind Barb- Thank YOU!
We increased the goal to $100,000 and while that number is large, the cost to fight a battle of this magnitude is proving to be ever growing.
Thank you will never be enough but please know how much we appreciate every single cent and the sacrifice being made.
thank you,
Allison, Brooke and Lauren.
Help Us Support Barb in Her Fight Against Stage 4 Peritoneal Cancer
Our mom, Barb, is facing the fight of her life. She has been diagnosed with Stage 4 peritoneal cancer—a rare and aggressive form of cancer that, heartbreakingly, has now spread to her lungs. Despite numerous scans, tests, and consultations with specialists, doctors have been unable to pinpoint the origin of her cancer. What we do know is that it’s progressing quickly, and time is critical.
Barb has endured painful, traumatic procedures to drain fluid from her lungs—something that has become a regular and terrifying part of her life. She's had to navigate an overwhelming number of medical appointments, blood draws, and emotionally exhausting conversations. And yet, through it all, she continues to show unimaginable strength and grace.
Recently, Barb was given a prognosis of just months to live. But if you know her, you know she’s never let a “no” define her future. She’s always been the kind of woman who turns obstacles into opportunities. When she was first diagnosed, so many people told her, “Cancer picked the wrong woman.” And they were absolutely right.
Barb is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her love for her family knows no bounds, and she is determined to be here for every milestone, every moment, and every memory yet to be made. Her faith in the Lord is unwavering, and it continues to be a source of deep strength and peace for her.
We are raising funds to help send Barb to a specialized facility that offers not only chemotherapy, but a comprehensive, integrative approach to cancer care—supporting her body, mind, and spirit. This kind of care comes at a cost, and we can’t do it without your help.
If you are able to give financially, we are deeply grateful. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us closer to giving Barb a real chance. And if you can’t give, we ask that you lift Barb up in prayer. Please storm the heavens for healing, strength, and time.
Thank you for standing with us in this fight. We believe in miracles, and we believe in Barbie.
