Hi. My name is Carolyn and I’m the daughter of my beautiful, strong, kind, loving, funny, and amazing mother, Barbara Parungao. My mom has been fighting cancer for a very long time and I can’t help but feel I’m not helping enough.

I have come up with the idea to raise some money so I can take her to her favorite place before her upcoming high-risk surgery on August 5th 2024, which is going to be a very long recovery. One of her favorite places to be is Michigan, and we just don’t have the funds for it. I want to do everything I can to make as many memories as I can before I can’t. All funds will go towards this unique trip and recovery.

She is the strongest person I know, and I know this won’t be the last time we make those memories. I love you, mom. Anything helps.
