My name is Alicia Hampton Truslow and I’m making this for request for my Nana Barbara Lynn Miller. Barbara has been diagnosed with advanced lung disease and more specifically the end stages of COPD. Hospice was called out to make her comfortable in her last days on Earth.

As of 02/07/2025 the hospice nurse found a Kennedy Ulcer which indicates her body is beginning to shut down and she is in the early active stage of passing now.

We as a family are completely crushed and heartbroken. As of right now she has been given maybe a week to live. She requires 24/7 care and my mom (her daughter Angela) has taken an unpaid leave of absence to help provide this care for her and I myself am doing all that I can to assist with that. That being said, the bills are piling and the income has halted. I’m making this in hopes to help relieve some of the pressure off of our family financially so that we can focus more so on my Nana’s last days here with us. There are so many unexpected costs and I just want to take what burdens I can from my mom who is also stretched so thin.

For anyone who does feel in their heart to donate I am forever thankful. For those of you who can’t at this time please just pray for us.

My nana is just shy next month of reaching her 70th birthday and we had planned to give her a big birthday celebration as we were given a 1-2 year life expectancy but over the past few days she has deteriorated very quickly and we are beside ourselves. She is so very loved and we will always cherish her in our hearts.
