“I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of Barbara Stackhouse, a close friend and neighbor of mine for the past 34 years. Barbara has been a very special friend that I consider family. She is a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and is the most caring and giving person I know. She is always there for her friends and family. Whether it be in a time of need, a hot meal, a place to stay or just a shoulder to lean on, Barbara’s door is always open and you will always feel welcome. Now it’s her time of need.

Barbara is currently facing a serious health issue that is going to put a considerable strain on her financial situation. As a retiree, she is on a fixed income so the added medical expenses will be unthinkable. Please consider donating to help alleviate costs of the out-of-pocket medical bills that will acquire over the next several months. Funds will also go toward any travel or other related miscellaneous expenses.
