Support Barbara Culbreath's Housing Crisis

Hi. My name is Barbara Culbreath. I am a retired Teacher from Maple Street School in Brooklyn, NY, where I worked for over 30 years. After losing my job at Maple Street due to Covid, It became harder for me and my family to keep up with the rent and because the rent was increased, we've gotten to the point where we were so far behind our rent, trying to play catch up became impossible. We have tried to reach out to government aid to help us but unfortunately it didn't work out for us and now we're facing eviction. Because of health issues, and my age, I am unable to work and continue to struggle financially and I'm living on social security. Although my children are all employed and helping out, we still owe too much money. We're hoping to be able to put a dent in our back rent and put off the eviction if it's possible, or to start over somewhere else.
