Barb Zimmerman has been a dedicated member of our horse show office team for over a decade. With her years of experience and knowledge she has been a go to person for the HITS Ocala scene.  On Jan. 13, 2019 while doing one of the things she loves the most; helping others at the horse show, she suffered a fall which resulted in a fractured hip and femur requiring surgery.

    The HITS Ocala Winter Circuit is her only source of annual income, with the news of a broken femur this unfortunately means Barb will be out of work while she heals and rehabilitates. The cost of her medical expenses will be significantly harder to cover without this income. Barb is not only left with covering these expenses on her own, but making sure her beloved animals at home are well taken care of while she is going through this rough time. We would like to help lighten these burdens for her so she can start to focus on her recovery. 
   
     The horse show community is known for coming together in times of need and this is the time for us to show our love and support for an amazing woman. Barbara has given us her all everyday and has  made our workplace more welcoming to all. Now is the time for her to focus on her recovery while we as a community are there for her to lean on.
