Barb Van Cislo, my good friend, is sweet, compassionate, creative, and responsible. She retired after 35 years at a major Seattle medical center as an administrative assistant, most recently in nursing education. Barb has been consistently and generously supportive of nursing staff and other health care providers, from maternity to seniors.

In August 2025, she had a long-awaited lower back surgery due to intractable pain. After unexpected complications, Barb has had 2 more hospitalizations and is currently regaining strength in a third rehab center.

The GoFundMe donations will be used toward hospital, rehab, physical therapy, and necessary home care expenses. Barb has spent her life supporting others. This is a great opportunity to support Barb.
