Hello!

My name is Lexi Ward and my sweet grandparents are Dave & Barb Huffman.

My grandpa is currently admitted in the hospital and being prepared to go under a massive open heart surgery next week, with a chance of not making it through due to several other medical conditions. He decided to go through with this surgery, as his fight to live is at an all-time high and if he does not receive this surgery, his life expectancy is not very long. If he pulls through the surgery, his treatment will be extensive and for quite awhile. His road to recovery is long, but we have no doubt he can do it.

I’m asking for help for them, as my grandma would never ask & she deserves every ounce of it. She lives over an hour away from the hospital and hasn’t left his side since he’s been admitted. Between the medical bills, meals, etc on top of other bills and daily life, things add up and the last thing I want is for her to have worry about finances as she’s helping my grandpa.

Both of them would do anything for anyone and if you know them, you love them.
