Support Banks Ave Bar Staff After Hurricane Helene

Hey y’all

Hurricane Helene came with a punch a few weeks ago here in Western North Carolina.

It’s been a long two weeks, but slowly everyday seems to get a little better.

The bar has been without power for two weeks (just having electricity connected recently) and of course, as everyone knows, no water service for vast majority of the Asheville region.

While the City of Asheville is working round the clock to fix the severely damaged water treatment facilities and transmission lines, there still isn’t a concrete timeline on when we will receive clean tap water back to the business.

Our staff faired decently well, and everyone is accounted for.

Since we are looking at multiple weeks of being unable to open, I wanted to make this fund raiser to 100% benefit the staff of Banks Ave Bar.

As we all know the unemployment route is accessible, but it’s only a tiny fraction monthly bills and living expenses for our employees.

If you’ve been to Banks, you have met and been served by a pretty dang awesome group of people, and those folks need a little compassion and cushion to get through what seems to be a few months without regular income.

All proceeds raised by this page will be 100% dispersed to the staff.

As owners, we will match everything that’s donated, and give some relief to these hard working folks.
