My uncle Banija’s life was shattered in an instant.

He was the victim of a 'hit-and-run' car accident caused by a drunk driver who then, fled the scene, leaving him critically injured and helpless.

Because of this senseless act, Banija has been left paralyzed.

He is now facing a future filled with hospital stays, rehabilitation, and daily challenges most of us can never imagine. He will be needing ongoing medical care, specialized mobility equipment, and support just to get through each day.

He can no longer work...
