Bandit, the cat, was found living in the wilds of northern Michigan and was eventually taken in by our family and joined his two cat brothers; Pickles and Dragon. The three of them live with INCREDIBLY unique personalities, Bandit's being the craziest of them all! His is the most positive, playful, and downright weirdest of them all. Despite his anime-villain eye, velocirapter claws, and fur making the shape of Cthulhu on his back, he has such a strong role in bonding us all together.

On Monday, May 4th, Bandit first showed signs that something was wrong. An intense round of getting sick brought his breakfast back up, and that was the last food he put in his stomach for over 3 days. His anorexic symptoms swapped between extreme lethargy and dry wretching. You could tell he was sad, hurting, but he was fighting!

After multiple trips to the Animal hospital, x-rays determined that he had an obstruction in his intestine, leading to a full stop to his digestive system and swelling his stomach to multiple times its normal size. Surgery was necessary to save his life.

At the time of writing this (5/7), Bandit is still in the hospital. The surgery occured at 4am this morning after the doctor determined he was decently hydrated.

It can be scary and shakey, and If you have had a pet in surgery, you will know how expensive it is. Saving Bandit's life will cost at least $7000, possibly more in case they need additional services. We all would be incredibly grateful for any financial supprt you could give.
